Fall 2020 transfer - what are my chances?

I am a math major applying to CSUF, CSUSM, and CSULB. My GPA is 3.07 and i’ve completed my golden four. I have local priority for CSUSM and CSUF, but not CSULB.

A link for the CSU Transfer GPA admit averages by campus to help gauge your chances:

Transfers are tough to guess right now.

I’d add a non-impacted campus while you still have time. Why not apply to SF and Channel Islands?

I wanted to choose schools in SoCal, and i’ve been told by a few people that since im local for CSUSM, I have my golden 4, and my GPA is over 2.5, i’m pretty much guaranteed. So i chose it for a safety school

GumbyMom - side question regarding CC Transfer to CSU. When a HS Senior is applying to a CSU, the rule is admission’s decisions are purely “mathematical”. Each factor leads to an overall score for admission decision.
Is that also true for transfer to CSU’s? I ask because son was declined at CSULB. He has a 4.0 at CCC, and he completed all his major requirements (Econ) in Freshman Year. Trying to understand how he could be declined so early in the game with his stats.
