<p>Can anyone tell me what most oos students do for Fall break? Do they fly home or stay on campus? Is the campus pretty deserted then? </p>

<p>A little of both, depending on the circumstances (ie if they live in SC or VA, then they probably go home, but if they live in Cali…maybe not). Yeah, campus is somewhat deserted then.</p>
<p>I’m originally from Washington State, but I’m going to fly up to New York to visit my best friend for fall break. The ticket to NY is a hell of a lot cheaper than the ticket to WA.</p>
<p>You better stay in Chapel Hill for fall break this year…football team plays Florida State Thursday night, under the lights! If you are planning on heading home, at least schedule your flight for Friday or something. I know lots of people who are planning on staying in Chapel Hill just for that game.</p>

<p>Good point on the Florida State game. Other than that on a normal year you do not want to be on campus for fall break. It would be boring as hell.</p>
<p>A lot of people (RE: oos!) also go on trips to the beach or mountains with friends.</p>
