I’m wondering if we need to purchase a Hog Wild Package for our son. Do the students tend to sit with their parents at the football game or with their friends? Also, it is right in the middle of pledging for frats so what do the guys who are going through pledging do on that Friday/Saturday? Are they busy with their frat stuff and don’t have time for parents? Any clarification would be helpful. Thanks

Mckinneymomma - I can only address this from the “girl” perspective. Our daughter wanted to sit with us, so we have purchased the package for her in the past. I know that her friends who had parents visit that weekend did the same.

My daughter’s sorority did have activities that weekend - (it’s Dad’s Day across all the sororities). However, they did not prevent but rather encouraged family participation. Not too helpful from the Fraternity Recruitment perspective, I’m afraid.

Thanks. Anyone have experience with the frat side?
