<p>Anyone with experience on Family weekend? </p>
<p>I know they have a package with a hotel in Greenville and shuttle service to campus. Comments?</p>
<p>I don’t have any experience with family weekend. If you book early, there might even be hotels available in Clemson but the shuttle service is nice if you don’t have a car and are just flying in from out of state.</p>
<p>It’s not a necessity (My parents won’t come) but if you want to see your child at college (and he agrees to let you come too! haha) then it’s a great event because the events are actually structured unlike visiting on any other day. And you get to go to a Clemson football game with him if you want. I know lots of parents do it freshman year but not as many do it after that. Also, you don’t have to participate in every family weekend activity, some people find that if they try and do that, they don’t have any time to themselves and are running from place to place.</p>
