<p>Does anyone have famous friends at BS? :D Just curious. It seems like the place you'd find famous actors' kids and such. :D</p>
<p>They are there, but they blend in and are regular kids–just like you. I doubt anyone will “out” any of their famous friends here as that’s not in the spirit of the BS communities.</p>
<p>I don’t watch TV, at all, so my mom jokes that my best friend would be some famous kid and I’d never even have heard of them. :D</p>
<p>Choatiemom is correct! There are lots of offspring of famous families at boarding school. The fastest way to get them to want nothing to do with you is to break their privacy on an anonymous chat board. Kind of the same idea as not posting your prep school and college results on this forum! It’s a small prep school world!</p>
<p>From what my friends already at bs have told me, it really depends on the school. Some attract people who are more likely to become famous later in life, and others attract those already famous or family of famous people.
I met the son of Hugh Dennis, a famous comedian here, when I was applying at one school. But I turned their offer down so won’t be at school with him :(</p>

<p>You can find out where most celebrities/their kids are at school on wikipedia anyway, although I get that they must not want people talking about it.</p>
<p>One, kids don’t much care and two, there is both an ethos and, in some cases, rules about discussing such things. At Eton few things will get one expelled–one thing which will is speaking to the press. While Eton is a bit extreme (understandably so–as UKgirl23 will realize), the same frowning on discussing such matters outside of the school exists in American bs as well.</p>
