Do you guys "believe" in the fancy water hype? As in, Evian, Fiji, SmartWater, etc.? I have had all types of "fancy" water, but my favourite water isn't actually fancy. It's Dasani :) it just tastes so clean and pure. To me, Fiji water tastes exactly like water from the tap, but a lot of people say it tastes like heaven. SmartWater tastes okay. I like Evian and San Pellegrino, though.

What's your favourite type of water? Is it fancy?

I’ve never had “fancy” water. I don’t drink Dasani because it’s a Coke product and bottled. I generally just drink water filtered by my refrigerator.

@OP-
Way to buy into the marketing lol, there’s nothing more crisp about Dasani than any other water. It’s just tap water that’s bottled into harmful plastic that is, literally, thousands of times more expensive than it would be from the tap.

@Minnesotaguy, I just like the way it tastes. To me, it just tastes fresh and definitely different from tap water, which doesn’t taste as… crisp (: and yes, I definitely for fall marketing haha I usually drink tap water (I use a re-usable water bottle-BPA free) that has been boiled and cooled

I never understood why people cant have a convorsation about bottled water without someone having to go and be all self righteous about bottles being unneccessary and are polluting the earth. Get over yourself. Do you complain aloud every time you start your car. The fossil fuels used to start you engine does way more harm to the environment that a few reusable bottles ever could.

As for the topic at hand, Im too cheap to buy fancy water. If I forget to fill by bottle from the tap I usually buy poland spring. Desani is good too but its not nearly as prevalant.

^^^ But there’s no way around needing that energy to power the car, and fossil fuels are the cheapest way of doing that.

Bottled water, on the other hand, is both unnecessary, low-quality, and expensive. A bottle of water costs, what, $1.25-$1.50? And that same amount of water would come out of the tap for about $0.0002? And then you rationalize it by buying into the marketing strategies and the picture of the pretty mountain on the wrapper. It’s also hilarious when you guys compare your favorite of the various brands of packaged tap water.
The honchos of Coca-Cola, etc must laugh their asses off at the **** we will throw money at them for.

Its all a marketing ploy, there goes capitalism for you. Have you guys ever tried to get tap water, boil it, and them cool it and drink it in a reusable water container. Cheap, and “fancy”.
