they changed the meals per week. you can now swipe 2x in a meal period. Just an FYI for anyone who remembers my thread about meal plans from earlier this summer.

Does it seem odd that the 19 meals per week is only $30 more than the 14 meals per week? I know everyone recommended the 175 flex, but I'm still leaning towards the 19 meals per week. For $145 more per semester (less than $10 per week), you get 7+ more meals per week. Seems like a bargain and I told my son I was willing to buy any meal plan. yes, I'm paranoid that he'll have several weeks to go in the semester and no more meals left on the flex plan

Goodbye meal periods, hello dining freedom! This semester block meal plans are no longer restricted by meal periods. Meal plan members can swipe whenever they want; however, you can't swipe more than your weekly allotment of meals. For example, if you have a 14 Meals plan you can swipe as often as you like, but not more than 14 times (meal allowence swipes) in a week. Block plan still roll over every week on Monday morning. BTW - Flex plans are uneffected by this change.

(misspelling of allowance is theirs not mine. I wish I had a nickel for every typo on the NYU website!
