Hey all, this is not a very clear post, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. A year into my undergrad education, I really have no idea what I want to do. I enjoyed my econ class, and was thinking about doing finance or a related field, but all through high school I thought I would do chemistry and end up in med school. I have also thought about law school and business school. I wouldn't really say I have any high and low points academically, although I have not taking as much pure math as I would like. I think, though, if I took the classes, I could handle it. Anyway, to get to the point, I do know that after school, I want to live a very fast and hectic life, as I have always felt I function better in this kind of environment. I'm competitive, a perfectionist, and driven. Does anyone know any careers that match this kind of personality? And what path one would take through undergrad to get there? Thanks...

Investment Banking
Management Consulting

What undergrad path would one take for a career in investment banking and management consulting?

Finance or accounting if you truly want to become a banker. Of course theres a bunch of jackasses on this board that obviously don't have much interest in financial markets or investment banking so they believe engineering or math is a better undergraduate choice. Those are the wannabes anyway, the ones with the real passion actually want to study business.
