Post your best Rubik's Cube times here. I am a horrible cuber; my best time is probably 2 minutes. Shouldn't be too hard to beat me....

it's possible to beat the record time....but you have to memorize a selected pattern..

I have never, ever solved one in my life... Funny huh? And people say I'm smart or something.

31 seconds.

175 sec :( I do it the easy way lol

41 Seconds- Semi Fridrich Method.

0 seconds- Taking the New Rubik's Cub Out of the Box Method.

^ Thats actually about .02 seconds. ;P

1 min 43 seconds ... but I use the top to bottom block by block method which can't go much faster than that. I, along with about 5 friends, learned over an 8 week period ... in the back of the most boring stats class ever. 25 years later I still remember how to do the cube ... and it actually has come up twice in job interviews (I used to be a math geek professionally)

Interviews? really, they asked you if you could solve the Rubiks Cube?

I'll have to agree with that one. I've been wanting to solve one for a while, now (or research the pattern and memorize it), but I haven't had the time. I vow to do it before school starts.

There was this kid at my camp who got it done in 46.8 seconds. He did it for the talent show. :p

^ LMAO, i got 40 seconds in less than a week of practice. Also there IS NO PATTERN!! Its logic. Oh yeah, there are these patterns, OLL and PLL( last parts to solving the cube) But you would have to memorize more than 300 formations of the cube. So you better stick with the beginners method. My method is logic, since i use Friedrich F2L.

I was waiting for an interview and there was a cube outside the manager's office ... I was holding the cube when he opened the door ... which led to a discussion on my ability to do the cube. The situation got a little strange when we realized I thought I was done but I wasn't ... the cube had a pattern printed on each of the faces and while I had finished all the edges correctly some of the middle squares were turned in the wrong orientation (because the pattern now did not line up). We spent 5-10 minutes talking about what caused this problem, the increased difficulty given a pattern, and if I could do a cube with a pattern. This was an interview for a math geek job (operations research job) and yes, I got the job,

^Ha, ha! That's a really interesting story =)

Well, fine... I rounded down, okay?!?

29 seconds -- I AM GOD.

17 years
I AM GOD

24.5 seconds........this was one time thing though, my average is about 28

Someone from HCSSIM did it in 13 seconds.
