I tried looking at AC transit--but the website is just so confusing. should i take the 51B or 52 gaaaah. i guess i'm just an idiot.

One thing I did notice whenever I do take the bus is that the bus is usually 5-10 minutes late. Is this always the case or do I just have terrible luck? would i be better walking from sproul to the RSF than taking the bus?

It’s not too bad of a trip, if you know where to go. Just hop on the Perimeter bus on Bancroft@Telegraph. Get off at Hearst Mining Circle. Transfer to the H line bus. Get off at the Space Sciences Lab. Then it’s just a 2 mile walk down Grizzly Peak Blvd until you hit the Tilden Steam Trains (Redwood Valley Railway). Board on the nearest platform. Then just jump off whenever you think the fall is sufficiently high to lead to a swift end.

What business do you have at the RSF if you won’t even just walk the 2 blocks it takes from Sproul to get there?

Well, I’m going to assume this thread is serious. If it’s not…oh well, I wasted 2 min of my life.

Fastest way to get to RSF from Upper Sproul is to take the large steps down to Lower Sproul. Cut diagonally across Lower Sproul to the Northeast/top right corner, and you’ll see a path leading away from Lower Sproul. Follow that path onto Bancroft, walk down Bancroft a block, and boom–RSF. Shouldn’t take more than 3 minutes.

Yeah, what nillawafer said. If you’re serious, you’d be better off just walking. It’s about two blocks from Sproul, walking down Bancroft towards Shattuck.
