<p>Hey just wanted to know what peoples favorite AP classes were? Maybe top 3 or 5? I've only taken 3 so far but my favorite was by far US History! </p>
<p>Im taking ap biology, psychology, literature, and statistics. I love them all but literature can be a little dull IMO</p>
<p>I’m gonna take all of those next year except lit… Heard lit was very hard and boring and the teacher in my school is a bit much hahaha! </p>
<p>AP Environmental Science
AP European History
AP US History</p>
<p>These are my favorite.</p>
<p>Psychology and Human Geography…I can sleep in class, not turn in anything, and still pull 100s.</p>
<p>I’ll probably enjoy gov/econ</p>
<p>It completely 100% depends on the teacher. English is my least favorite subject but I’m really loving AP Lit because the teacher is so great and inspires some very lively discussions during class. </p>
<p>Also enjoyed/am enjoying AP Euro, AP Calc AB, AP Chemistry, AP Econ, AP Physics C</p>
<p>AP Envi Sci. We went outside alot and I the teacher was this fun, hippy guy. </p>
<p>My favourites were AP lit, AP stats, and AP chem. AP lit was by far my favourite; it’s what inspired me to actually enjoy and eventually want to major in English/the humanities. My teacher was really snarky and unorthodox, which worked really well with the class. AP stats was fun as well, very easy but pretty thought-provoking at times… it was interesting to see the mix of math and writing and other subjects such as medicine, industry, and psychology. AP chem was really easy for me for some reason (physics and bio did not come naturally to me, so I’m not sure why chem did). I was a tutor in the class as well… lots of fun.</p>
<p>I agree that it really depends on the teacher… I’d say closer to 95% rather than 100%, but still.</p>
<p>I also took AP calc AB, calc BC, physics (we just called it that but it was with calculus and was both electricity and mechanics).</p>
<p>I’m taking AP Human Geography, and I actually like it. The class itself is easy and goes into little detail, but the information is interesting I kinda read random parts of an AP Psychology book, and it also was really interesting!</p>
<p>AP World History was awesome; I took it as a sophomore. </p>
<p>AP Biology, which I’m taking right now, seems to be pretty cool also. </p>
<p>I’m taking 3 right now and took one last year, and so far my favorite is AP World History, second AP English Language, but AP World is mostly because of the teacher and the class.</p>
<p>Top 3 for me are:</p>
<p>AP U.S. History (teacher was AMAZING)
AP Biology (teacher again)
AP Calculus BC (you guessed it! Teacher again!!!)</p>
<p>**5. AP Gov<a href=“was%20fine.%20decent%20teacher,%20loved%20the%20class.%20class%20material%20was%20average.%20class%20execution%20was%20lackluster%20for%20me%20personally,%20but%20others%20seemed%20to%20like%20it”>/b</a>
**4. AP Stats<a href=“so%20far–fun%20fun%20fun,%20if%20a%20little%5Ba%20lot%5D%20slow”>/b</a>
**3. AP Phys C<a href=“teacher%20fine%20so%20far.%20class%20fine%20so%20far.”>/b</a>
**2. AP Calc AB<a href=“holy%20flip%20no%20graphing.%20whoa.%20no%20graphs.%20whoa.%20no%20precalculus%20crap.%20whoa.%20%0ABC%20seems%20to%20be%20more%20precalculus-intensive,%20though.”>/b</a>

<p>AP Euro just because it was my secondary sleep class of the year lmao. Failed the test though, and obvs I only slept because the material bored me to death.</p>
<p>I have taken 7 Ap courses so far:
- AP Computer Science - awesome for people who like problem solving / language (if you can take it do it! or if you live in Florida take it on FLVS for free!). Plus programming is just a good skill to have. If you want to try to learn to code on your own try codeacademy or codingbat (java/python problems)
- AP Calc AB - mostly because the teacher was awesome and who doesn’t love math
- AP Music Theory - if you play an instrument/sing and you want to write your own music or learn about music in general it is a must. Be warned - the test is really difficult!
- AP Lang & Comp - I didn’t learn a lot of new stuff but the books we read were awesome (An American Childhood (boring to read, slightly more interesting to analyze) but The Handmaid’s Tale (awesome), The Things They Carried (awesome), The House of the Spirits (good), Thousand Cranes (eh… ok), Chronicle of a Death Foretold (awesome) and The Sorrow of War (awesome)) and the discussion was great
- AP Stats - it really didn’t go into as much depth behind the understanding of “why” as I would have liked. Much easier than AB Calc, I basically considered this a memorize directions, use common sense, and how to use a calculator class.
- AP U.S. History - basically a rehash of material that I had learned prior to high school. It did go more in depth and consider multiple points of view, and the debates and review games in class were entertaining. But really, I am not a history person.
- AP World History - interesting course material, the teacher was meh. Also, I don’t really like history.
Note: Crash Course (look it up - its a youtube channel) is an awesome resource for everything from Ap Psych to History (World and US). Its made by the guy who wrote The Fault in Our Stars and his brother - it is highly entertaining and informative. It can be hard to listen to for extended amounts of time, but it depends on the person. </p>
<p>I’ve taken:</p>
<ol>
<li>AP World History, borringggg. loved my teacher actually, he was awesome, made the class somewhat interesting. one word of advice: DO NOT FALL BEHIND. at least at my school. we move very quickly. buy the AP book online on amazon or something. also, look on crash course, it saved my butt a lot haha. </li>
<li>AP US History, supposed to be an incredibly difficult class, but my teacher is an idiot so it’s incredibly easy. very boring as well. i was forced to buy the AP book because my professor doesn’t teach.</li>
<li>AP Environmental Science, favorite class of this year. Very easy to receive an A, and also very interesting. </li>
<li>AP Psych, easy A. taught in like every school, same curriculum. decent at times.</li>
<li>AP English, not a lot of reading, a lot of essay writing. eh. </li>
</ol>
<p>In no particular order:
- Calc. BC - super interesting and insanely easy
- Physics C - (see Calc. BC)
- English Language and Composition - difficult, but not so hard that you can’t get an A without hard work. Learned a lot from this class.
- Statistics - Super chill.
- US Gov - (see Statistics)</p>
<p>In order:
- AP Psychology-The subject interests me, so I enjoy the class a lot. I hope to get at least a 4 on the exam.
- AP World-The teacher was amazing and motivated me to do well in his class. Funny how I’m interested in the world’s history than my own country’s.
- AP Govt.-I have the same teacher who taught my APUSH class. I say so far that it’s easier than APUSH considering how I need to learn less vocab and concepts. I actually get the lessons my teacher’s teaching me.
- APUSH-I loved the teacher, but I hated the subject. There were some interesting aspects in it, but I found most of it boring.
5.AP Lit-I love reading, but I hate essays. Maybe things will change after the second semester.</p>
<p>I am loving AP Psych, AP Bio, AP Lit and AP Physics 1 this year so far. Last year I really liked AP Macro and AP Lang, but did not like AP Chem or AP Micro. </p>
<p>AP Calc BC was my favorite hands-down. The AP sciences are extremely cookie-cutter, having taken both IB and AP sciences, the IB ones were way more reminiscent of what the field might actually look like (since we had to design our own experiments, write a bunch of intensive stuff, which is what you’d actually do if you were studying the field)</p>
<p>AP English Literature.</p>
