<p>My d. is a freshman and, having just visited her during October break, I completely understand why she would like to live off-campus next year. But we are not convinced that the closet size room she shares with an unsociable roommate in Slusher Wing is a great example of dorm room opportunities! I would like to list for her some dorms to consider that might be favorites and have some appeal. Any suggestions? I know this topic has been covered in the past... but some quick help would be appreciated! Thanks.</p>

<p>The dorms in general aren't that great. The new ones are going to be nice but they don't open for a couple more years. New Res and Payne (I think theres one more too, but I can't remember its name. It's in the same area as New Res and Payne though) are probably the two nicest dorms on campus (air conditioned, some are suite style) but to be honest the individual rooms are either the same size or smaller than "regular" rooms and the common area only goes so far...</p>
