<p>So I am trying to decide between VT and University of Delaware. I am having a very hard time deciding. One of the things I am not sure about with VT is the fact that most sophomores move off campus since housing isn't guaranteed after freshman year. I read somewhere that to get good housing you have to sign for a lease in October/November for the following year! I feel like that is way to soon to even know who you would want to room with for next year.
Does anyone else feel this way? Is this really even a problem?</p>
<p>I just recently signed a lease and I have a better place than my friends who signed back then. Most people who sign in October/November go with the big complexes (some of which don’t even run out of room anyway) which aren’t as great as places that come up later in the spring.</p>
<p>Also, a lot of sophomores I know get on campus housing. Maybe it wont be as many because of the construction, but it still seems like plenty of people get on campus housing.</p>
