what is
1. your favorite thing about college
and/or
2. your least favorite thing about college

please indicate the university you attend without abreviations, for example "Oklahoma University" not OU b/c it could be Ohio University as well.

1-no parents. ability to be free and do what i want. the sense of community with my dormmates.
2-no one to tell me what to do means i don't get my work done in a timely manner. i'll get better at it though.

Favorite thing-Living alone (although they told me i will have a roommate next semester)
Least favorite thing-severe lack of people from my hometown here(one of two freshmen from my school, one of <10 people from all grades from my school), it would be nice to see some more familar faces sometimes

South Dakota State University; Brookings, South Dakota

Like a lot: All the awesome people I've met, THE CITY ROCKS!!! the freedom to do what I like when I like, the 18 year old drinking age, my church is amazing

What I could do without: Caf food, rude/pushy franco salespeople who look at you like you're some sort of primordial slug for not speaking french correctly, not being able to get sleep because of neighbors talking really loud right outside my door.

But the positives way outweigh the negatives.

Favorite - making lifelong friends in the dorm. I keep in touch with these people even though I am 5 years out of college. I don't really talk to the high school friends, but these guys are friends for life.

Least Favorite - reading. It's hard to keep up with reading when they don't collect homework. You just have to be disciplined.

Favorite--Friends. I feel truly blessed to have all the awesome friends that I have. I never knew that people like them even existed! (Can you tell that I REALLY like my friends?)

Least Favorite--This one's easy. Not having any money! Grrrr....

Freshman at University of California, Riverside (Woot woot! Go Highlanders!)
