1) Your favorite part about College Life and why

and

2) Your Least favorite part-- and why

I'm interested to find out and want to know what to expect.

You have a lot more freedom as far as what kind of courses to take in general. Professors treat you more like adults (again, in general).

Nothing really. So much better than high school.

1) Your favorite part about College Life and why - i'm on my own, make my own decisions surrounded by my best friends at a school that's full of opportunites waiting for somebody to take advantage of. Also, free beer at parties.

2) Your Least favorite part-- and why - lack of money readily available from the parents. You'll be broke for much of college.

1) You can make your classes anytime you want to. And take what you want to. I love that on MF I'm done at 10am. Yeah, I have an 8am class, but I'm not stuck in classes on a beautiful day while everyone else is :)

2) Sometimes it feels just like high school. Sometimes the people are exactly the same. And sometimes 8 am classes, even when you're done at 10am, suck.

favorite part - pretty much everything - tons of new people, making your own schedule, easy access to alcohol etc

least favorite part - being constantly broke!

best: getting to choose class times, plus tons of free time.

worst: no car, being out in the middle of nowhere

favorite: freedom to do what I want and not feel like parents are judging me

least: when school and life stress builds up too much

Favorite: Freedom and flexibility

Least: Can get into a routine and seeing the same faces if you attend a small school

Favorite part: Hot chicks

Least Favorite part: being dogged by hot chicks!

favorite part: ummmm, i'm trying to transfer, but would say that i like being around people that care about getting an education. in high schoo, maybe 10% of my school wanted to do well and wanted to be involced. at the college i'm currently at, people want to do well, but i dont feel like many of them go to class for learnings sake, but instead go to class to get a degree.

negative part: it's very stressful, and at the end of everyday, even weekends, i go to bed so amazed by what all i crammed into a single day. i do more than i ever thought i could, which is good, i guess. but the stress that tags along is mighty unpleasant.

oh, and i get sick of eating bulk prepared food from the cafeteria... there are days when i get so sick of the food that i cant stand to even be in the cafeteria. and i really like food.

1) Living away from home, but still being able to have your parents buy you stuff or do your laundry on weekends, etc. Also, meeting new people!

2) Living with someone I didn't know (live by myself now, thank god). Having to be outgoing to meet people (I'm pretty shy).

oh, and whoever said that if you go to a small school, you get into a rut of seeing the same people all the time, that can happen at big schools too! My school has over 23,000 people, and I swear I see the same people ALL THE TIME. If only it was hot same people, haha.

favorite part: hot girls
less favorite part: not getting action from hot girls

Favorite Part: The schedule. You don't go from 7:30 to 2:30 anymore. Now you've got breaks, only a few classes each day, and more opportunities to maximize your daytime.

Least Favorite Part: The social life. It was WAY better in HS. I don't think I'll ever have as good of a social year as I did last year as a senior in HS ever again...I went from being "the mayor" at my high school to being the guy nobody wants to hang out with because he doesn't drink and doesn't have sex...and the folks that I do hang out with are always busy it seems. Plus there aren't enough opportunities to meet new people as a commuter at my new school. There's really no winning situation I guess. A lot of you mention hot girls, but most of the hot girls seem to be full of air and immorality...and no, I don't want the action. I just want someone who understands me and is moral enough to put sex off until marriage!
