truthiness (uncountable)

A variation of truthfulness derived from the word truthy (archaic and rare or dialectal)

The quality by which something is known or believed emotionally or instinctively, without regard to evidence or rational thought. Almost always used derisively via ironic praise. (Popularised by Stephen Colbert)

The quality of adhering to incorrect concepts one wishes or believes to be true. Used as previous.
I should note I included that second definition next to it.

inifinite (I'm a math person!)

YAY Steven Colbert lol

I hope the adcoms have a sense of humor for my word, I put Accepted

I thought about putting Accepted

lol accepted

haha that is so funny!!
i love steven colbert!
i put idiosyncrasy

fundamental

ha colbert is a genius

but we dont get the colbert report over here bah!

I put "will". I can't remember why (good thing I haven't submitted my app yet), though. It just felt/feels right. I guess it's because I like to think that my will has a greater effect on my fate than anything else, even though there's no rational reason for believing so.

I'm a bit afraid Princeton might think I'm sucking up to them because I named my favourite book as The Accidental Economist by Paul Krugman (I can't help it - it was the first economics-related tome that I really loved to read) and my favourite movie as A Beautiful Mind (when I saw it I wasn't thinking about Princeton - I just felt I could really relate to the portrayal of Nash's character). To top it off, I named my preferred major as economics - I'm afraid the adcom will think I'm really trying to suck up or think my interest is fake, when it's just a serendipitous synergistic coincidence.

Oh well. I guess that's why I'm so ambivalent about will - you can't always will it that you'll be understood.

Um, guys, that would be StePHen Colbert...jeez, get it right! :p
Anyway, for all of you Colbert fans out there, check out my favorite website: colbertnation.com!!!

My friend put calamari

im not hijacking the thread, but i just wanna ask if the P'ton adcom really does have a sense of humor.

for the favorite quote thing, my friend put,
"ouch baby, very ouch" by Austin Powers. i told him this was completely stupid and doesn't say anything about him at all

I don't know anything about the humor thing, but I'm pretty sure of one thing: not very much weight is placed upon the "few details" section, so usually what you said will not matter at all.

noone used cellardoor?
