Fear of admission being revoked

Hey everyone. I have been accepted into a US university and already paid my enrollment fee. Thing is, I still gotta submit my WES evaluation of IGCSE. I graduated from a British curriculum based school so I graduated at year 11. I have read on different sites with some saying that IGCSEs are equivalent to US High school diplomas and some saying they are only equivalent to grade 10. Dont know what WES will evaluate it into. But anyways, can the uni revoke my admittance if WES evaluates the IGCSE into US grade 10? Obviously I never lied about anything on my application so does the WES evaluation count towards my fate? Please help me out. I dont know when the deadline is and an I-20 wont be issued until I finish the WES procedure, which will take about a month. Oh yea and I have contacted the Uni if that is what u wanna suggest. They said although A levels are required, an O level is just fine. However, the catch is they never clearly clarified about needing to finish year 12 or so.

We can’t tell you anything more definitive than the university itself. Personally, I would be shocked if they withdrew your offer of admission because some staffer in the admissions office misinterpreted what a IGCSE credential stands for, as long as you didn’t state or imply anything misleading on your application.

I wonder if the WES evaluation will be read by the admissions office or the registrar. It’s entirely possibly that they’ll only use it to place you into appropriate first-year courses.

I wish I could tell you something more reassuring, but at this point you’ll just have to wait and see.

Thanks so much for the commenting. I’m having a hard time trying to tag u with the 2 @s lol and dealing with the stress for this issue. I’ve already sent in the enrollment deposit and used up alot of money on international couriers. Dont want all that to go to waste just because of some misinterpretation… As far as I know, I haven’t written anything misleading on the common app. Even if I wanted to, there isnt much in commonapp that can be lied about bruh. I have written 2014 for graduation date tho (the year I had my IGCSEs) which I am not lying, obviously, since that is really the point where my Brit school graduated me. Uni admin asked me what I have been doing post grad to which I have already replied (with ECs and tuitions). He asked me if I am taking Alevels to which I answered no and he said then it’s fine with just the O levels. I asked if A levels are required to which he said yes and then asked me again if I’m taking them. I replied no, he says it’s fine. Why do they have to be so confusing? Hopefully, it’ll all go well. I pray WES wont lead me to any trouble.

Oh and about the year 12. I asked him if I needed a year 12 transcript to which he gave no answer but just a request of my 2011-2012 transcript (they already have my 2012-2013 & 2013-2014 transcripts mind u). I asked him again as it was stated on their website that grade 9-12 transcripts are needed but he started getting impatient so I didnt want to push him past his limits. Also, he asked me to let my school official write and send a statement of proof of my graduation. Does that mean that if I followed just what he says, I’ll be in the clear regardless of what WES says?

@B@r!um Thanks again for ur opinion.
