Yo, anyone ever experience any racial comments or racial activites during high school?

Of course but not in a very intense form.

ohh i see, what were the races

i'm mexican and 20 black males came up to me calling me puto, a burrito, and i should go back to the border.

Ah, that happens frequently, though among whites in my area...

My friend and her boyfriend were caught kissing publicly in the elevator of a public library (a misdemeanor since they were both under 18). The first thing the white security guard said to them? "What is your race?" And then some more bashing.

oh yeah, i forgot, one day i was eating at subways and left, and these black guys hit me in the face accusing me of something i didn't do

People call me a chink all the time (I go to a predominatly white school)...

But I guess its okay, it gives me something to write about in my personal statements for college...

Man, maybe i should wear make up and pretend i'm gay so knowone will accuse me of something i didn't do. These black guys were like saying, "you making fun of me taco bell boy? Well i'll show you something to shut your burrito a** off" This is pretty messed up, i'm gonna go disguised next time

Dude, that's really messed up. Here usually the Mexican guys don't get that kind of treatment.

Wth...thats a bit extreme. You should report them to your deans. No one should ever have to hide their ethncity to prevent prejudice. END OF STORY.

it's pretty messed up in my hood. Sometimes after school, when i want to study, these black guys are always in my way and i'm reallly getting tired of it, i dont know what to do anymore. Maybe they pretend that i did something to them to scare me or something, but it doesnt' make sense

Whatever you do...don't resort to violence. Violence only begets more violence. And who knows, they might be friends with gang members or something...

Ask them why you should go back "to the border" and why they should be allowed to stay.

I would LOVE to hear the response.

this one time, i signed up in a "rap contest" and these blacks were like "you have no chance on me puto, why wont you head back home with your burrito service and never come back puto. If you sign up to this contest, we'll burn your house down, we know were you live." I never get opportunities in my hood. Maybe i should move or something, but my whole family lives here. I'm thinking of moving to New York, but i don't have money. I'm poor and i'm currently working in a deli store. Sometimes these blacks stop buy and break something.

Yeah, I've experienced racial comments ever since first grade, mostly from white people, but a couple of years back, I was in the same position as you, only reversed...I was the black person who was being called "nigger" and other offensive names by the hispanics..

i guess in different hoods, there are different mentalities. Us, mexicans are bad in some hoods, but in my hoood, we great people. We do service to help our community stay clean and help the kids

man azn nerd, you sound familiar to me. IS this Alvin?

Uhhhhhh no. Do you guys get alot of reverse racism though? Like from a non-white majority or perhaps from a minority majority if you're white?

dang, i got a friend back in my hood with the same sn as you, except by aim. Anyways, blacks and whites at my hood are great friends. It's so weird how they treat us mexicans with no respect. There the ones like pigs throwing cans and food trays all over the place while we clean and help our community. They filthy, no offense.
