I'm a senior, and I didn't get the score I wanted this December. Can I send in the score from February to top colleges?

If you’re applying to top colleges, then you should be able to go to their websites to see what their testing deadlines are firsthand than getting secondhand knowledge from a discussion board.

Most colleges say they are not sure if the February score will it on time for consideration. However, if SAT scores from January come out on February 14, and the February ACT is on February 9, then isn’t there enough time for my scores to make it on time? Scores for the ACT take a shorter amount of time to be released than SAT scores. The scores for the SAT also take additional time to be sent to colleges.

Again, which would have the most reliable answer, the college itself or an internet discussion forum? Call the schools.

Also, if you have specific schools in mind, read/Search (because this kind of question is a FAQ) and then post if necessary, on the individual college forums. Asking a generic question about ‘top colleges’ is usually much less effective as people tend to assume you are being lazy and not doing your own footwork.
