Fee Waiver Question

<p>Is the fee waiver automatically done or do we have to email each school individually (which I have done)? I am unsure whether I should wait or pay it off right away for fear of my application being ignored.</p>

<p>-Edit: Does it matter if my schools I tried to enact a waiver for was Caltech and UPenn? They seem to not reply to any email I have sent. And I sent them email twice on January 3rd and 14th.</p>

<p>I emailed any schools that gave vague directions about the fee waiver. Got responses from all of them telling me either that they have waived my fee as a result of my email or that I didn’t need to send the email because I had marked my Finalist status on the CommonApp but that they appreciated it anyway.</p>
