I sent the package on December 31 with everything included in one package, including fee waiver request. But the status somehow indicates that they have not received it yet. I also e-mailed them about it, but they told me it was not just there in the package.

I know my app will not be processed until fee is payed / waived. So I am so worried. I currently do not have money to pay the fee, so I am just thinking of faxing a new one or sending by express mail.

Or is it just that they only require specific forms of fee waiver request? I just had my counselor send a letter to MIT and included it in my package.

I am an international applicant, if it helps.

Thanks! Any input would be appreciated much! I will be more than happy!

Fee waiver request pending. Please be sure to send a guidance counselor approved SAT Request for Waiver of College Application Fee form to the following address:
Attn: Fee Waiver
MIT Office of Admissions
77 Massachusetts Avenue, Room 3-108
Cambridge, MA 02139-4307

You can write directly to MIT with a letter from your counselor or another school official requesting an application fee waiver.

So your fee waiver should be fine, it just must have gotten lost in the shuffle. Faxing a new one as soon as possible is probably your best option.

Will anyone please help me and tell me the E-mail address for the submission of admission applications and fee waiver request? I am badly in need of it. =(

The application itself is submitted online, through MyMIT (my.mit.edu).

The fee waiver request can be submitted via postal mail or fax. The mailing address is at the bottom of the admissions webpage, and the fax number is 617-687-9184.
