Im applying to transfer to several schools and I am also asking for fee waivers. One of the schools has a sheet that I have to fill out and explain why, but the the problem is that I have no good reasons other than that I just cant afford it. I was thinking about adding that, my parents just paid my second semester tuition plus I just spent over $400 buying books. My dad is also retired but he still works to maintain my two sisters and my mother at home. I was thinking about getting a job but I am taking 17 credits this semster and I literally have no time to eat sometimes let alone get a job. so getting a job for me would be kinda hard. My classes end at 9:40pm two days a week and 6:45pm two other days.

Not being able to afford it is a good reason itself. I am asking for fee waivers myself and my counselor will write fee waiver requests for me. It's just a document on school's stationary stating that application fees would be a burden to your budget, that's all!

I am taking 16 credits, 10 of which are honors classes, working 15-20 hours a week and dedicating another 7 hours to Student Government. I bike to campus every morning. My classes start at 08:00 am at finish at 08:00 pm. I know how you feel!

*****, That's hard... You have all my sympathies and good luck HelenofTroy

Thanks 31337 :) I appreciate it!
