<p>are international students (Canadians, in my case) allowed to use application fee waivers? if so, which waivers can we use?</p>
<p>i've noticed that there are 3 types of waivers on common app, are they all open to internationals?</p>
<p>also, my concern is that, as an international student, SHOULD i use fee waivers? because that implies a lack of financial resource, right? so does it work against my favor?</p>

<p>There are no official fee waivers for internationals like there are for Americans. Some colleges will waive the application fee for you when you provide documentation of the hardship it would pose to your family. A few colleges generally not waive the application fees for internationals.</p>
<p>If you need a fee waiver, definitely contact the colleges of your interest about it before submitting your application. If everything else fails, there are a number of colleges that charge no application fees for online applications.</p>
