Feedback for California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress and Early Assessment Program ([CAASPP/EAP]

Hi

My D22’s high school ( bay area ,California) shared a message about 11th graders being given the option to take the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress and Early Assessment Program ([CAASPP/EAP] on June 7/8 in person at a school site (TBD). Message notes that this is optional and recommended for Cal state. I am looking for feedback from anyone who has taken it last year and used it for college admissions and whether it has been useful factor.

Right now, the schedule is packed with end of school year exams/ AP exams and trying to figure if there is enough gas left in the tank to take one more exam CAASPP) after school year ends and prioritize accordingly. Thanks in advance for any input.

The CAASPP test is not currently used for admissions. The CSUs use it for placement after a student is accepted.
