Feedback from Accepted Students Day?

Any feedback or impressions to share from Accepted Students Day? Thank you!

I thought that it was pretty awesome. Got to visit all the places I was interested in and have another look at the beautiful campus. All of the speakers were very informative, and answered questions in a kind manner. Overall I enjoyed myself.

As a parent I will try to point out some of the good and the bad. The one thing I found most impressive was the tutoring center. They will help students proof read papers. How great is that!! Also, as I found on previous visits, I was impressed with the students I encountered. So many seem to be the types of kids adored by their peers, teachers and friends’ parents. On the negative side was the condition of the Student Center. The school administration knew they were having company over, but did not ensure that the washrooms were clean. The washrooms were dirty and the couches were ratty. Both gymnasiums are in need of maintenance and expansion. Between both my kids I have visited about 20 schools, and those facilities are by far the worst I have seen.

My kid will be attending in the fall, as it is the best choice. The programs are relevant and the school does seem to provide a level of attention to the needs of students not usually found in public schools (I hope). Moreover, publications that rank schools score it high in many areas. All in all, I hope for the best.

Positives: was the day was very organized. Before hand we were emailed a list of the events for the day so this allowed most of us to get an idea of what events we would attend for the day. I was able to go to so many of them it was great.

My campus tour guide was very excited and preppy she was very helpful in answering our questions.

Negatives: Umm I dont have any besides the fact that I didnt get to buy my tcnj nursing shirt lol

haleeka were you at the financial aid event?
