If you are interested in putting the TV in the Living Room, I would set groundrules. Tell them you don’t need a stand, so won’t pay for it, but you are willing to put the TV in the Living Room on a trial basis. Also tell them that you watch XYZ show at 9:00 on Thursdays and ABC on Monday but other than that they are free to use it.
