I just got rejected from Hamilton today. I had applied ED I. Now I can't figure out colleges that match me. I'm an international student and I can -at max-contribute about 5k per year. I'm running out of colleges and can't decide which ones to apply to. My stats are:

SAT(best scores): 610r 710m 700w
GPA: 4(unweighted)
TOEFL: 104
Rank: Top 5% Class size: 617
ECAs:
-organized blood donation programmes
-writing consultant for a website
-have been supporting an orphanage of 12 kids
-taught english to kids at the orphanage
-conducted a donation program to support school kids in a rural village. (donations included food, clothes, books and money)

Can you suggest me any schools where I'm likely to be accepted?
My current list includes:
Gettysburg
Dickinson,
F&M
Lafayette
Occidental
St. Olaf
Colgate
Hampshire
Trinity College, CT
ConnColl
UConn
Colby
Please help me. I promise to chance back!

hie led,Im sorry about the rejection. You WILL find a good school dont worry. From your list I would not count on colby, occidental and st.olaf because the aid is too limited. The rest are okay.Have you looked at DePauw? Also if you are interested, have a look at Jacobs University Bremen in Germany(US system, degree in 3yrs+need blind)good luck.

I have applied to JUB. I just wanted some colleges to consider in the states. Do you think I have a shot at colby though? Considering Im an international applying for FA?

Hey, I am sorry to hear about your rejection! I don’t know much about most of these schools, but some of them I have a good idea if you can get in:
Gettysburg, F&M, UConn, Conn College, St. Olaf, & Hampshire

As far as Colby, Trinity, & Colgate, those three are really toss-ups. You totally have a fighting chance at Colgate but Trinity and Colby may be a little harder. Have you considered looking into Bates? They LOVE international students there, and it’s definetly easier to get in there than a school like Colby or Trinity. Bates is essentially Colby just a little bit easier to get into. Good luck!

Really? Do you know how many acceptances were from Nepal? Trinity took 4! ALL OF THEM ED!!! I just cant believe it! Last year they took 7 Nepalese! And is Bates really easier to get into than Colby and Trinity??? I thought Bates was the hardest among the colleges! And I heard that to get into Colgate, the minimum composite score was more than 1450(cr+m)!

I guess I should apply to all of them, but one definitely has to go for ed ii. Where should I?
Plus I forgot some other ECAs:
-i am a guitarist and have been performing in a band since the 10th grade. I’ve been playing at concerts and am a full time guitarist of a local band.
-i’ve also volunteered at health posts in and out of the city area
