I live in OC and I don’t really want to move but the commute is nasty. I was wondering what every body else has considered.

i plan to commute form the san bernardino mountains dont really know how nasty it gets yet!

^ ouch sounds even further than mine

Its like a 30min drive from where I live so Il be commuting.

I live in Tustin and I will be commuting. If anybody lives near Tustin or Tustin is on their way to Pomona lets try and set up a carpool. I heard there is a special parking lot for carpool students and it would be a BIG gas saver

Anywhere from OC, I would consider dorming or living in the village. The drive up the 57 could get pretty nasty. That’s time I would rather spend chilling or studying…

Not from the area. So most likely dorm it.
The village complex they got is really nice too ;so that cool

Well its May 1st… and my application status is still the same as it was since October 1st lol

I’ll be attending CPP in the Fall and I live in the Bay Area. I’m looking for studio apts or one bedrooms in the surrounding area.

I thought the village was really nice too. I didn’t like the living arrangments though.

I didn’t get to see the inside of them. Out of curiosity what don’t like about them?

they have several living arrangements including shared or single rooms. In all situations, you have to share the bathroom with 1 person. I don’t know what’s not to like about these arrangements.

[University Village - Rates and Floor Plans](http://www.foundation.csupomona.edu/village/rates.aspx)

Is the village a good distance away from the campus?

The village is on campus just kind of off in a corner. So some parts of campus will take some walking to get to

Personally, I want to find a studio for myself or one bedroom apartment in (west) covina or san dimas which would require me to commute a little bit but not much. I didnt like the village because in every living arrangement you have to share a bathroom and even a bedroom in some cases. For $880 you can live one other person and share a bathroom and I think for almost 900 dollars I could find a studio apartments and set it up to my liking 100%. thats only my personal preference though.

@futuregrad its nice to know someone else from the bay area is transferring.

Haha same her I’m from the bay. What’s are your guys majors?

@kp - i’m a nutritional science major - dietetics option… how about you??

im tired of commuting, im looking to live off campus I feel im past the age of dorming

I’ll be commuting from Ontario!
