<p>wow...huge oversimplication of "the feminist movement" (quoted because there is no one feminist movement). It's annoying when people overgeneralize like that. Nowadays calling yourself a feminist is almost like saying you've gone completely insane or you've sold your soul to the devil, because people don't bother to understand the complexities of feminism.</p>

<p>What you have to understand about Maddox is that more often than not, he exaggerates and oversimplifies for the sake of comedic effect. If he's being serious, you'll know it, such as when he goes after anti-immigration people ("look, there's an American--let's take his job!") Take his stance on abortion, for example: he's anti-abortion, but pro-killing babies. I also rather enjoyed his diatribe against whales and his making fun of children's artwork. I don't think he's a visionary thinker, and I don't think he's trying to be one--don't take everything Maddox says at face value. That said, the man's funny as all hell.</p>
<p>EDIT: Maddox also talks about the Websense B.S. on his website. He has a rather good record of going after corporations that **** him off, like he did with Orbitz.</p>

<p>If any of you have read Susan Douglas' Where the Girls Are, she defines a feminist as someone who believes that women deserves the same treatment as males, not as a man hating, ball busting, someone who refuses to shave, hates children, etc. etc.</p>
