Fernando Salvador Sanchez (Princeton ’10) Wins Hispanic Heritage Foundation Award

<p>Fernando Salvador Sanchez (Princeton Class of 2010) has won one of nine National Youth Awards given by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. The nine award recipients were selected from a pool of approximately 13,000 applicants from across the United States. Fernando, a senior at the United Nations International School in New York, won in the category of journalism. This prestigious award “celebrates and promotes Hispanic pride, culture, accomplishment and leadership through national and regional educational and inspirational programs focusing on putting Hispanics in a position from which to lead.”</p>

<p>This year, two of the nine winners will be attending MIT and two will attend Stanford. Of the remaining five, Fernando will be attending Princeton, while one each will be attending Harvard, Dartmouth, Berkeley and Point Park. Congratulations to all of them!</p>
