Fierce Competition Among South Carolina Publics

Clemson University has engineering, College of Charleston gets high marks for Biology, Winthrop University promotes undergraduate research and authorship, Coastal Carolina University is experiencing significant growth, while U of South Carolina-Columbia is a comprehensive urban university with a renowned business program.

Are Clemson and USC far ahead of the pack? Has or can Coastal Carolina match the caliber of CU and USC students because of the significant number of northeast U.S. applicants admitted to CCU?

Haha sorry I thought this thread was a joke at first...most people on here have never heard of CCU, including me. College of Charleston, USC, and Clemson are all about in the same ballpark from what I have gathered. I doubt the "fierce competition" you speak of is nationally recognized.
