Filled out FAFSA about 2 weeks ago, now I have a question.

Well, it's been two weeks since I filled out my FAFSA, and just checked the transactions today and they estimated my EFC to be 0 dollars. Here is my question:

I just read about Pell Grants a couple minutes ago, do I have to fill any application to apply for Pell Grants?

You already did. It is called FAFSA.

Your school will use your EFC to calculate your financial aid award. With a 0 EFC you should get the full Pell grant ($4731 for the 2009-2009 school year).

What else does a 0 EFC mean? Because my parents make REALLY little money annually, is there a good chance that I don't have to pay a cent for my tuition to a California University (including books and supplies)
