january 22nd sat

so this is what happened, in section 2 , theres 8 questions. i filled all, then moved on to the grid in and later english. during the 3rd section english, i accidentally filled in 5 bubbles in the MATH 2 section instead of the english section below it. i noticed it and erased the extra bubbles at math and put them back in their appropriate place, the english section box.

will this effect my grade in any way?

Sounds like you’ve got nothing to worry about! If you erased well, and put the answers into the right places in section 3 as you say you did, your slip up won’t affect you at all.

Actually, even if you had transferred the answers to section 3 but forgotten to erase them from section 2, it still wouldn’t have mattered. The Scantron machine would have registered only what you had bubbled in the first 8 questions; it couldn’t care less what you bubbled after those.

And, by the way, there’s no “English” section on the SAT…there’s Writing and Critical Reading. Just looking out for ya, superstein. ;-)

haha thanks. i was just too worried, you know!
