Filling out a UC TAG with W's

Hello! I really hope someone who has info on the TAG reads this.

I'm planning to transfer next fall and I've been filling out a UC TAG with my courses but I'm having a problem. I took an English class back in ' 09 and dropped it so on my transcripts it says "W."
I retook it the following winter and I got an A, but I don't know how to add that. When I added the course I put: ENG1A, 4 units, Withdrawal. But now that I'm trying to add the new grade--for the following semester-- it gives me choices to choose from because it appears to be a repeat course [in my case it asks me to choose from a sociology class I did not do well on (D), or, "This is not a repeat course"].

I'm stressing because none of those options work for me. Isn't it a repeat course because I took it again? Or am I mistaking, and it isn't because I got a W the first time?
If so, what do I put since it won't let me add it?
I know I'm probably overreacting, but I really do need help here.

Add all your classes as they appear on your transcript(s). Enter the date of the first time you took the class and put the grade as W, then put the date in for the second time you took the class and put the letter grade you received that time.

swagandtag is right, you need to replicate your transcript on the TAG application. Discrepancies can void your TAG.

So does the UC look at the transcripts while evaluating the TAG or do they do that later, in other words how would they know if there is a discrepancy?

The UCs look at your final transcripts in July. Discrepancies are grounds for acceptance cancellation and you probably don’t want that.

I’m glad the tag is finished! I realize now that it was not hard at all, I guess I over exaggerated. Thank you all very much.
