Filling out App Form (Word Limit)

One section says "(Please limit your answer to 40 words or fewer)". Well after having 40 words, the box still allows you to type words. Is it okay if I have 44 words? Will they think I can't follow directions?

Also, is it fine to list the awards in bullet format for the "description of activity and role"?

Thanks so much

Yes and yes.

Edit: They actually will not allow you to move on if you have more than 40 words..

Actually, they do. As long as it's under ~60, they will. (It let me anyway, but then again I shortened it, so I don't know if it would require me to shorten in before I submitted it).

I tried to save my activities page, but it would not allow me, saying that I went over the word limit on one of my description boxes.

How much over. If it's too long, it will do that, but if it's just a 'bit' over, then it won't.

I checked the word count on word, and it was around 41-2, and the app form would not accept it. Sometimes when its exactly 40 words, the app won't except it.

I think it's based on the length of the short essay, not the word count. I tend to use short words, which may be why it let me add more. Where you may use longer words, which caused you to put less.

Lol it is so funny, I've been trying desperately to whiddle mine down from 42 to 40!
