Hey Guys,

So I'm applying with Environmental Econ to UC Berkeley and as I was filling out the supplemental forms, I ran into a problem. My major requires TWO econ classes but they only have a box (in the pre req form) for ONE Econ class. I received a B in one and I'm In Progress with the other (Spring Semester). So do I just put one? And which one would look better? The B or the IP (In Progress)?

Please let me know, guys! :)

Thanks!

I guess the problem is because Econ 1 at Cal covers both Micro and Macro…

Well, in this case, I think you should call Cal admission. You should NOT just assume and put the “better” grade in as that may jeopardize your application.

There is an additional comments section at the very end of the form. Just include the information there for your second class.

I just wondering is there any pre-req forms in UCB supplemental form? I only find IGETC form, L & S Requirements form and UC-TRANSFERABLE COURSES FROM in mine.

qing: I’ve applied to Berkeley as EECS, and my required forms are a link to the UC App update and “Major Prerequisites”, which is basically the list from assist with blanks for filling in specific requirements/courses. I have yet to find a form asking for IGETC or general ed courses, so I’m guessing they just sent the paperwork for what they care about for each major.

Beardo: Comment box or calling sounds like your best bet. :)

The forms I had to fill out were the unit transferable course summary, the major prerequisites, and the breadth requirements under which you would list whether you completed the IGETC OR the L&S requirements.

That’s weird. My forms have nothing about “major prerequisites”. Is that because the major that I applied is special? I applied statistics.

Don’t rely on the additional comments box. They rarely look at that. To OP: call admission asap
