<p>Hey, I'm looking to go abroad to the Czech Republic in the spring of '09, my junior year, to study film at FAMU. My school has really close ties to FAMU, so most people in my major go there, especially since half of the school is taught in English for international students and half is taught in Czech. I was wondering if anyone knew about FAMU (personal experiences, etc) and how it stacked up to other film schools in Europe, especially in France (I know there are three in Paris, one in Toulouse, and those are just the ones recognized by CILECT). <p>My son studied at FAMU through Tisch Summer Study Abroad, and it was a great program. Even though it was only for approximately five weeks, he was able to make a 35mm short film with Czech actors participating and utilizing the many resources at FAMU and Prague.</p>
