What about the rest of you guys…?

Received on 02/28/09 - File Complete, Decision Pending - As of 03/19/09

received 2/02/09 file complete, decision pending 3/12/09
still no change in webadvisor - but i did get approved for my financial aid (dependency override) at UCI so maybe I can talk Chapman into passing it as well if I get in :)

I got my letter in the mail today, it was postmarked may 6th.
I got accepted :] with a scholarship. I’m going to call and ask about if they have any spots for dorms… D:
but good luck everyone! feel free to ask me about anything regarding the letter.
and mine read ’ received 3/1/09 file complete, decision pending 3/16/09’ until may 5th.

Congratulations Monkarr!

Thank you and once again, congratulations.

I knew you were accepted, “Admission Approved” definitely means you have been accepted. Ah, man, you’re probably so happy. Good for you.

Congrats Monkarr! Hope to see you there :-)

So wait, Monkarr what were your stats like GPA, and how many credits, letters of rec…? If you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks everyone!! it still hasn’t hit me yet D: its unreal. and of course, best wishes to everyone!! hope to see all you dedicated people there.

my GPA is 3.7 with like 54 (i think, its not 60 though) units completed at the end of this semester. my regular rec letter… i don’t know anything about since it was just e-mailed straight to Chapman. My film rec letter, it was pretty damn solid (he sent me a copy too) and my teacher, he has been IN the industry since like 74 and is one of the “opinion makers” (iono what that is though haha) iono he seems pretty legit. i think that helped a lot, since i have no background in film (i’m a pre-art major at CSULB right now)

but I only applied to Chapman, so my essays were written only for Chapman. I wrote like my life depended on it.

monkarr: congrats! I think they were working extra, overtime yesterday - at 9 pm PST I finally got an email response to my questions, from the Director of Undergrad Admissions, saying that our regional rep (to whom I directed my email) was out sick for 1 week. I know of another person in that department out sick, and someone in housing was out, too. So maybe that’s been part of the problem…at least not H1N1?

O god. The last thing we need is a swine flu outbreak on the admissions board!

OMG, I hope you know that I was JOKING! I saw your video, so I know you have a great sense of humor. ; )

Perhaps somebody can call and ask about this specifically because it would really help us all understand what’s going on.

You see, my application was received and began review before monkarrr. Even though my update was on 3/19, it began review on 3/11. If they’re not going alphabetically, how are they reviewing them? Why don’t I have an answer and monkarrr does?

I’m just curious how the review is being done, that’s all. Thoughts?

They might be reviewing applications by department or program.

monkarrr and I both applied for Film Production.

well I know mine was received before any of you (2/02) and I also applied for film production and I also have not heard anything back I dont think this is something that can be made sense of haha we just have to hang out and wait

Well, yes, but February 2 is still early. They probably weren’t reviewing any transfers at that point so they waited on yours, but yes, same concept.

Congratulations monkarr!

I applied to Film Production too.

I’m film pro also…I have a hunch that we will hear something Monday.

Monday is my girlfriend’s birthday. Sunday is Mother’s Day. What a gift it would have been had I found out yesterday or today…
