<p>hey did u turn in the profile on collegeboard? what did you do for the 2006 tax info. We havent filed 2006 yet.</p>

<p>IDK bernardolw. My financial aid stuff is in the snail mail. I, well my dad, mailed it out today. But I recieved a email about the college board profile.</p>
<p>If you put 0s for the 2006 data, the December estimate (if you're accepted) will be much lower than you'll actually be expected to pay (unless they know what you did and correct for it)</p>
<p>You know what you can do to make it interesting.....
Don't send one piece of the fin.aid app. For example, just forget to send inthe Student Tax ID form or something.</p>
<p>What happens is that the financial aid office doesn't review your application until after ONLY if you've been accepted. Therefore, if you've been rejected or put on the waiting list, they DON't REVIEW YOUR FIN. AID APP.</p>
<p>So what happen is if you get accepted and they don't have one of your fin. aid stuff they will contact you a few weeks before the decisions are mailed out and ask for it.
Now if they call late asking for fin. aid info., it's a very good sign that you got accepted. THis happened to a few of my friends.</p>

But if you want to not send it in and add some fun to your waiting of decisions, go right ahead.
It is Nov. 2, so you have missed the deadline for the financial aid. So, just wait and IF you do get a call from the fin. aid office asking for it, make sure you post a thread and tell the CC comunnity. I want to see what happens.</p>
