Hey,
I heard that there were very limited fin aid opportunities for International transfers compared to Int students who apply as freshmen. If so, it must be a big deal for me. I am an Asian student who is currently attending a US university. I think about the idea of transfering to another school next year. Cornell, Upenn, Emory, NYU and other top b-schools are my targets. Could you please suggest me the names of some schools which offer acceptable fin aid to Int students?
Transfering is still of my consideration but not my final decision yet. If financial issues are not solved, maybe I quit .
Thanks so much and happy new year.

hey,
I have one more question. It seems that any transfer student of CALS at Cornell must have two basic biology classes on hand. It is so weird becasue the AEM of this college does nothing with bio at all. Do u think that it is compulsory to study bio in order for me to be elgible for the transfer application process?
Thanks in advance.

I do also think it is a wierd requirement for business study. I used to interested in transferring to CALS at Cornell too, but I've changed my mind due to their Biology requirement. For me, It isn't worth it to take 2 semesters of Biology that has nothing to do with your major.

Nevertheless, I do think it is still necessary to take those Biology courses if you want to be considered as a good standing applicant at Cornell. And if you do have a great stats & if you think you have a good chance at Cornell, I suggest you to take those Biolody classes. If you don't (like me.. lol), then don't waste your time.. Other great b-schools don't require Biology course.
