<p>Not sure what you mean. If you accepted a spot at Fordham, I think by definition you accepted the financial aid. But I also know there is a form you have to submit and sign and tell them you are on the hook for that. That relates to the student loans etc. I am not sure. But obviously, the sooner the better. You can call them and ask.</p>
<p>There is a button on the Financial Aid menu of your my.Fordham.com for accepting financial aid. It appears about 4-5 days after you make your deposit. My daughter also received a letter from Fordham by postal mail with two copies of the award letter. One was marked “Fordham copy” but there was no place to sign (so we haven’t sent that one back.)</p>
<p>I don’t know what the deadline is, but I am pretty sure you need to accept the package, or parts of it. Some people do not accept the loan portion of the package.</p>
<p>I agree, if you are sitting on the fence about accepting loans, call and ask about the deadline.</p>

<p>mcblue99-- You’re right-- there is printing (in light grey!) on the other side of the award letter. We had not noticed! But, fortunately my daughter was able to accept the award online before the deadline, May 1.</p>
