Are you applying to cc?

Yes  I’m hoping I am at least deferred, and not flat out rejected, lol.

your scores are kinda low bro and it doesnt help that youre asian

I know :frowning: . I am first gen and expecting excellent recs though, if that makes a difference.

have you submitted yet? if youre planning on taking the SAT’s again, and think you’ll do better, then you might wanna rethink ED

I haven’t submitted it yet. I thought I did really well on the October SAT, but I ended up getting. I might retake the SAT for schools I am applying RD to. Do you think Columbia would at least defer?

I think you should take the SATs again, but ED is probably still a good idea. Even if you get deferred, telling Columbia that they’re your first choice always helps

^I agree. If Columbia is your “dream school,” apply ED but keep focused on your other applications as well.

Thanks for the advice leah and pbr! I am going to retake the SAT in Dec.

Do you guys think I should bother sending my ACT score? I have to pay 9 dollars to send it.
