Final colleges to apply to...Not much time please help!

<p>Im a HS Senior in NY and I know my top school, Boston University and I know a few others I would like to go to, Fordham, American, etc. but I have been constantly told that I need more than 7 schools to apply to. </p>

<p>I had a few more I was planning on applying to but I really didnt want to go to them so I got rid of them. Can anybody please think of a few more schools that I should apply to, id generally like to stick in the Northeastern Area, but id probably go as far South as the Carolinas...</p>

<p>My general stats are:</p>

<p>-3.7 UW GPA on a 4.0 Scale
-1820 SAT Scores
- A few clubs, National Honor Society, President of one
-AP Scholar Award
-Over 400+ Hours of Comm. Service
-Part time job for 2 years</p>

<p>You don’t need to apply to 7 schools, many people choose to apply to more, many less (I know people that only applied to 3-4 schools). The more important thing is that your list is well balanced (your best bet is to follow the ration of 1:2:1, meaning for every one safety you apply to two matches and one reach). Your stats seem a little low for the schools you listed (though to be honest I don’t know a ton about those schools). People are probably telling you this because you are mainly applying to reaches.</p>
