<p>Yep, Iām a rising junior. We arenāt allowed to take AP classes until Jr. yearā¦Honors are worth 5pts and AP are 6. (standard is 4.) My school is only a few years old, but weāre one of the top public high schools in the state (weāre 264th in the nation, for a 3yr old school thatās pretty good-or so the principal seems to constantly state and brag about haha.) With my GPA iām still only ranked at 6, probably lower now since my GPA went down since midyear. Most people find it pretty tough, but Iām a self-proclaimed nerd haha (as most people on here probably are.)</p>

<p>(and to the person who said goodjob, thanks a lot :D, but to be honest I donāt think I tried hard enough to deserve what I got, I just did the work and happen to do very well on almost every test this year)</p>
<p>^ Yeah, I was so excited to see it on a list as one of the new courses. We watched a ton of cool older movies like Blade Runner and I got to write my senior thesis on Star Wars.
I wonāt lie and say I worked extremely hard, we mostly watched movies and the quizzes were pretty easy but I genuinely had interest in that class so I think I got something out of it.</p>
