Final SDSU Chance Please....

Eligibilty Index of 958...(IB courses have no weighting so the lower grades I got in those aren't covered like they should be)/
Psychology Major with Business Administration as second choice
In State but not in San Diego Area

More and more I think about it the more and more it looks like I'm probably screwed...

EI is right on the border of being competitive, so it could go either way.

SDSU: High Match/Low Reach depending upon this years applicant pool.

Thanks, sorry you’ve had to post on like 3 of these from me now. Didn’t realize that the UC basically throws no weight to IB courses at all, that’s why my EI has fallen each time I’ve posted this. If it weren’t for my 34 ACT id’d be on a river without a paddle. Kind of freaking out now but there is nothing I can do so I guess I just sit and wait. I hear SDSU usually notifies by December so maybe a month and a half or so is all I gotta wait.

Sorry, didn’t realize I had already chanced you on your previous posts. I am not familar with IB, but my understanding was that IB is similar to AP, so why are you not getting the extra Honors points on the GPA calculation.
Did you check all your classes on the doorways website? http://www.ucop.edu/doorways/</a>
You have an outstanding ACT score so hopefully that will be enough

SDSU notifies the High Stat applicants (usually Honors) in Mid-Late December. The majority of the acceptances are around Mid-February and will continue accepting through April.
Good Luck and keep the hope…

IB courses are weighted ONLY in senior year, not junior, so my 10-11 GPA looks much lower because of it.
