final thing about timing of online decision

aaaahhhh i cant take this. the rest of the ivys besides harvard are out THIS WEEK and people at school keep getting early decision letters from schools.... A WHOLE NOTHER WEEK! AHHHH IM GONNA EXPLODE.

So is the final agreement that it will probably be on the evening of the 15th? Good luck everyone...

I thought Princeton was next week, too?

Yeah, espionnechica. I think most people are pretty sure it'll be the evening of the fifteenth. It will happen /by/ the 16th at 5 (or was it 6?) at the latest.

wow. if it doesnt go online the 15th, i'll probably get it in the mail first. I hadnt even considered that possibility.

Thanks dtown--yup, I think Princeton just said "the middle of December"--I'm glad we actually have a date.

yea.. being left out to hand like that might just send me over the edge. at least having a two date range is better than that.

oh, mono sucks. i got it in august. little did i know, i had been running w/ it for 2 weeks...that basically screwed over my XC season, as i had previously been #3 on the state runner-up team. oh well, i've got winter track...or do i? haha that's what stress fractures are for! anyway lindsey, you'll feel better soon! just watch those legs...

i got mono and it ruined my swimming for a year and made the coach mad at me because he thought i should just swim through it...

My good friend from another school got mono not too long ago... she was very distraught, since the time she was "out of order" caused her GPA to slip and she went from 1st in her class to 3rd...

does anyone know when they send out the regular mail letters? i live in RI, so if like they send out letters on the 13th or something then id get it by the 14th probably

I don't think they send them out until the 15th or 16th.

Last year they were mailed the night of the 15th. I can't remember if they were postmarked the 15th or 16th. I can check later because I think we still have the envelope. They got to Texas two or three days later.

I would assume that they send the letters out the same day the decisions go online. After all, if they sent the letters earlier, that would mean that they knew the decisions earlier and just randomly decided not to put them online.

Looking at the decisions post on the Dartmouth thread has made me immeasurably more nervous than I was before.

It all seems so much more real now. That will be us in less than a week!

Nervous

I just talked to Josh (panthers7), who is banned for some odd reason, but he wants to let everyone know that he talked to the "football guy" in admissions, who told him that Yale will be mailing on the 15th, but the online date may vary. They aren't sure yet. However, they say when they are finished they will inform us.

Hm.
