Im really worried about my final year grades (high school), and whether it would call for UVa to revoke my admission!? The 3 C's are in AP Bio, AP Stats, and AP Latin. Should I send a letter to explain the hard ships I have faced this year? My father has had two strokes since January, and I myself have been in and out of the hospital and have been having blood infusions (which leaving me basically limp) for my uveitis? Because of all this, I kind of lost focus in school - what will happen!?

You should send a letter with an explanation before they receive your grades, so it is not a surprise when they do see them. It shows you took initiative and you really care, by reaching out to them first. I do not know what will happen, but hopefully you do not get revoked.

Bigshot3008 basically summed it up nicely. I’m sorry to hear of your situation aku, I hope it all turns out well.

I feel that 3 C’s isn’t enough to get revoked, but they would probably ask it about. So yes, just send them a little letter explaining your circumstances. I’m surprised you managed such nice grades with that situation, very well done my friend! Keep it up, hope to see you at UVA =]
