High school transcripts / proof of gradation for incoming plebes.

In all the stuff USNA sent out, they never mentioned final transcripts. I went ahead and sent mine to the admissions office anyways. The address is

117 Decatur Road
Annapolis, MD 21402

Our son requested his final transcripts, but evidently they never arrived. Until the day he graduated from USNA his Mids info showed that he was not a high school graduate. :)

I am not saying not to request them, I am just saying what my son's experience was so that perhaps you will not become overly stressed about it. And yes, he did graduate from HS.

I don't think I submitted final paperwork either; I know other schools request it, but I never even thought of it with USNA. Haha. I suppose it can't hurt to send it, but it might not be necessary either.

Bring a copy on I-day, just in case?

My MIDS data also said I didn't graduate from HS.

Plebe-to-be son called Admissions today to inquire.

Although she didn't cite a specific requirement, Regional Coordinator said to send it in.

By the way, a hearty congratulations to all USNA alums who never graduated high school!!

CIS shows that my son's transcript was received 6-17-08. I think his counselor sent it in as a matter of course, as she did with his 7th semester grades. Very thorough, his high school's college counseling office. Gotta love them!

Counselors at d's high school routinely send transcripts to colleges/universities that students plan on attending. Ask your school's counselor to send final transcripts if this isn't done automatically.
