i just sent in my mid-semester evaluations to all of my schools and i was wondering if i needed to send final transcrips places as well because i didnt find it anywhere on the websites. Im applying to vassar, brandeis, wesleyan, connecticut college, and im already in suny new paltz. anyone have any idea?

Do you mean final transcript for the spring term - which you would have sometime in May/June? Usually you would have your acceptances in hand by then and know where you are going. You will have to send a transcript to that school but not others, if I understand the situation correctly.

yes you understand correctly. I was just wondering if i would need to send my final transcript for the spring semester anywhere. I was thinking i would just need to send it where i get in and decide to go, but the semester ends before i know that information so do i need to send it everywhere? and how much weight is held on it? just curious...dont worry i wont let my grades drop

Well, I would think it would be clear from the application instructions/website if they need that final transcript. But, in general, even if you won't hear 'til say late May/early June and your spring term ends early May, you are not expected to submit a final transcript. In general, they are making the decision based on terms completed when you submitted the application and mid-term reports (if they asked for them).

*always best to check with specific schools if you are unsure and not take information from an Internet discussion board as gospel, but I have outlined what is typical
