I am done! I win! Mwahahaha....

Although my differential final definitely got me....yeah...major butt-kicking. :(

As of now, I'm done. :D

AP chem yesterday destroyed me. That counts as an exam, right?

AP Chem is hard...my lowest AP score, but I still got into 222 (which I'm celebrating this semester).

Do you get to validate chem with only an AP score? I made a 5 on AP Chem last year, but I feel like I forgot lots of details which would cost me on a placement test.

Nice work, ZMAN07. I think you only need a 3 to validate for chem, I could be wrong though. I would talk to your AFA counselor.

Yes, you can get credit with a 3 in chemisty.

the chem AP wasn't a fun one, but it was so much better than the calc one i actually feel pretty good about it. and thanks for the link i didn't think AP american history would do me any good and it does! whoo!

oki doki, my area here! I also took my AP chem junior year, and got a 5 on it then (better have since its my major!). Anywho, AP scores are not enough alone! You will need to do well on the validation test when you get here as well. I believe (don't quote me here) that if you have a 5 then you can have a lower score on the validation test then someone with no AP or a lower score. But, you still need it. I was in the same boat as you ZMAN, I wasn't sure if I remembered enough. I went back to my old teacher who was very willing to give me a review packet he was using for his class that year. I spent some time over summer (few hours) reviewing and getting back up to date on the concepts. I did well on the validation test, so I validated freshman chem. You will have the choice to volunteer to go into 222 as well, so you can validate and go in to 222, or validate and not go to 222. If you plan on majoring in some sort of chem, then take it. Otherwise, for many, its a hit or miss class.

Thanks. It'll hopefully come back fast. I'll see about doing some reviewing over the summer.

Just go out and buy an AP Chem book for $15 at Border's or B&N. I'd imagine one of those paperback bad boys would have all you need!

School is finished for me...I've been out since the 4th!

I'm STILL not done...

same same. I'm studying for my Japanese final which is in only 7 hours from now...argh.

2 weeks till GRAD NITE..! YES and last day of AP Testing for my life.haha

finally DONE...I'm now heading down to issue to get my 3 degree rank :)!

Congratulations, PatriotCPM (and everyone else)! Probably feels good to be done with your first year, huh?

ONE more...1300 today...

I don't have any real finals left. Which is a good thing, because I don't think I could make myself care enough at this point to put much effort into studying. It's sunny outside and I've kind of reverted back to kindergarten status. :) Paper Mache and finger painting is about the extent of my mental capacity at this point after AP testing. haha

Congratulations to all the 4 digs! Now that you're pretty much done with the academic section of the year, it really means that beast is close. I can't wait!
